You need to provide a lot more info about your configuration.

    What version of Quartus?

What is the target FPGA device?

    What Operating System?

What are you compiling? Is it all your own verilog, or is it IP modules?

Be as specific as possible about each of these topics, then folks will be able to provide useful suggestions.

Is the device AGFx014? It should be compileable with 32 GB RAM, sure your system doesn't run other tasks with high memory demand simultaneously. Better upgrade to 64 GB.

    Hi FvM,

The RAM has been upgraded to 64 GB and altered the pager size to 400GB but what is happing is it is using all the 64 GB RAM and then the compilation tacks more that 36 Hrs. and still 0 % is been seen in the synthesis progress bar .

    regards
