thanks for your suggestion. I updated the license file. I assigned port 1800 on the SERVER line and port 1801 on the alterad line. (We never used the mgcld daemon)
Also, the firewall on this server is disabled.
The issue has not changed. Still, we can run lmgrd manually from the command line in a cmd.exe tool. Still, we cannot run the daemon as a service. Still, no log file is written. Please see the updated Word doc which I now attach. All new information is at the bottom of the Word doc.
