Hi
My company has used Quartus 16.1 on Windows for many years and all projects are written in 16.1.
I now has to switch computer and install Quartus, but as I understand it 16.1 is no longer avai...

To check whether you did the right thing on installing wsl, you can simply launch nios 2 command shell and see if it is able to launch, normally unsuccessful installation for wsl, you cannot invoke nios cmd shell or will ask you to install wsl.

3 years agoI have no problem launching the Nios 2 command shell. So I guess WSL is installed correctly.
Should I somehow configure Eclipse/NIOS2 to use WSL when compiling? Or should that happen automatically?
It seems it doesn't do that when it doesn't know UNAME. Because through NIOS 2 command shell I can write uname and it returns Linux.
So why isn't Eclipse using Nios 2 command shell?
