NiosII ide newbie

hey guys

I have recently simulated a helloworld.c program using the ISS that comes with the niosII ide. I am now trying to simulate uclinux, I have a precompiled uclinux which is in a zimage file. How would i go about simulating this or do I have to simulate for all the libraries in the uncompiled version of uclinux?
