Which Modelsim version is compatible with Quartus Prime 18.0.1 Build 261 06/28/2018 SJ Pro Edition? I am not able to find this info om the website.
Intel does provide version compatibility info in Quartus Software and Device Support release notes.
I found this info through Mentor support.

Frequent ContributorYou can download the ModelSim Intel Starter versions from the Intel website or the ModelSim Intel Standard version 10.5c. These versions are customized for Intel(Altera) FPGAs and CPLDs and come with the device libraries pre-compiled.
If using the standard ModelSim versions from MentorGraphics, you can use any version 10.1 - 10.7c. You will have to manually compile all FPGA and CPLD device libraries for ModelSim in order to do a design simulation.
