Modelsim suddenly closes

I use Modelsim 14.0 Altera Starter Edition with ubuntu gnome 15.10. I start Modelsim through Quartus. From time to time it happens, that the Modelsim Window suddenly closes without any error Message. It happens quite often, but not after any special action, so it seems to be a bit random.

Anyone out there who experienced the same problem?
