modelsim Error during compiling

Good afternoon,

I keep getting a strange error during a modelsim compile.

# ** Error: (vcom-7) Failed to open design unit file "../../fpga/Megawizard/*.vhd" in read mode.

and

# ** Error: C:/modeltech_pe_6.5d/win32pe/vcom failed.

any ideas what might be causing this? it worked just a few weeks ago.
