"Modelsim 10.0d(quartusII 12.0) starter edition" starting problem

Hello,

I downloaded and installed the latest complete package(quartus 12.0, NIOS ii and Model sim) from altera website using altera download manager in XP 32 bit OS.

quartus 12.0, and NIOS ii is working fine but Modelsim is not (although during installation it was succesful).

When I open "Modelsim 10.0d(quartusII 12.0) starter edition", the starting windows appears for some seconds and then vanish automatically. I even tried opening some VHDL file, that also not working.

Can anybody help me??
