Model Sim starter edition (MGLS_LICENSE_ FILE problem)

HI all,

I have downloaded altera 12.0 web edition for Linux. I aam trying to install it on ubuntu laptop.

I was able to install the tool properly but I am facing this error when I am trying to do RTL simulation.

Native Link Error:

Can't launch model sim softare -- the path to location of the executables for model sim altera software were not specified.

I have specified the path in the EDA tools options dialog box .. I dnt knw why the problem still

persists.

Please help
