One more question:
If this is an SDM behavior to reject it, is it considered a bug by altera and will it be fixed in later SDM firmware versions in later quartus revisions?
if yes by when?
and what is the ticket id so we can doublecheck when it was fixed (in quartus release notes).

    Hello Peter, 

    PDF attached. This is not a bug. This is more to SDM mailbox limitation. There is no fix plan for this limitation.
