i'm trying to mirgate from quartus7 to quartus11 and what is my issue: i have some self made avalon modules outside the qsys, so how i should to connect it to nios? or if you want, how to implement like interface to user logic on qsys? thanks in advance.
Honored ContributorIf you previuosly creatieve Avalon modules Yourself in SOPC then attaching them to Avalon for Qsys schould be similar using the Wizard for Qsys.
Honored ContributorYou didn't quite clear understood what I mean. Modules havn't been done in SOPC builder, but in quartus and connected to the SOPC system throught interface to user logic component. But qsys seems doesn't have this component. I can suppose that only manner is to create new component in qsys. Does it?
Honored ContributorQsys does not support System Verilog "interface". I believe you should use verilog HDL in your custom component for qsys component editor to successful analyze the hdll files.
