Licensing ModelSim with FloatPC license

Hi,

I have a floatPC license for 30 computers to be used. I didn't have any problems with Quartus II, but I can't use this license for the ModelSim Altera. I had already searched in some forums and found the solution below, but it didn't work:

LM_LICENSE_FILE: <port>@<hostname>

Maybe, any changes in the Server Computer will solve this problem?

If anyone can help me with any sugestion I'll be grateful.

Does the current floating license on the server include a "feature line" for the ModelSim-AE verilog or VHDL tools?

    It should look like this:

    for VHDL:

    INCREMENT alteramtivsim mgcld 2009.06 day-month-year <# of seats> .... <removed the rest>

    for Verilog:

    INCREMENT alteramtivlog mgcld 2009.06 day-month-year <# of seats> .... <removed the rest>

If you do have this, then I would look to see what version of the LMGRD tools you have installed.

Are there other tools in the system that also use FLexLM licensing?

Have you filed an SR with the Support line?

The problem was in the version of the LMGRD tools. Now, everything work fine.

    Thank you so much.
