JTAG Chain error

Error (209031): Device chain in Chain Description File does not match physical device chain -- expected 1 device(s) but found 2 device(s).

I am trying to flash my verilog code on Cyclone V 5CSXFC2C6U23C7 SoC FPGA. When i click autodetect in quartus prime it gives me two devices SOCvHPS and 5CSXFC2C6. When i select 5CSXFC2C6 and .sof file to it click run it shows me above error. Any suggestions for the above problem please.

    Hi there,

    Based on what we're seeing, it seems that the flash on the Cyclone V contains an image for the HPS. A simple approach would be to erase the flash and then perform a reboot.
