Is Quartus II 8.0 and SOPC Builder less buggy than Quartus II 7.x

Hello,

Before installing Quartus II 8.0 could you tell me if java bugs from sopc builder 7.x are fixed in the latest version ?

I know that in web edition, we loose multi-processor compilation, is there another removed feature ?

    8.0 SP1 seems to be less buggy and more stable regarding SOPC, yes.:)

    If you read QII8.0SP1 release notes, there is a section on SOPC Builder which gives details on existing bugs and their workarounds: http://www.altera.com/literature/rn/rn_qts.pdf

    However some Java bugs appear to exist even in SP1. For example, in Linux, NIOS IDE crashes whenever I click on anything in Help menu.
