Internal Error: FIOMGR

Anyone ever seen this error before?

Internal Error: Sub-system: FIOMGR, File: /quartus/fitter/fiomgr/fiomgr_io_manager.cpp, Line: 1126

An IO is trying to be removeed from the IO manager, but it is not legal to be removed from the given location.

Stack Trace:

0x609ae: FIOMGR_IO_MANAGER::remove_without_helper + 0x26e (FITTER_FIOMGR)

0x606d3: FIOMGR_IO_MANAGER::remove + 0x63 (FITTER_FIOMGR)

It occurs about half way through Fitter.

Windows 7 64-bit, Quartus II 10.1sp1 64-bit

    Like it says its an internal error/crash. Have you tried Q11sp1?

    Otherwise you'll need to raise a mysupport request.

    No, the design was well underway and contains a complex SOPC Builder system. I have no desire to migrate it to Qsys at this stage in the project.

    The fix turned out to be blowing away the DB folders and building from scratch.
