installed latest Quartus, Project won't compile

Question

I installed the latest Quartus II. I now get a database error. It seems I needed to migrate my databases to a be "version compatible" first. Is this true? What are my options now, install older version?

its best to just compile from scratch, try removing db/ and incremental_db/ in the project directory
