"Incomplete" loacation assignment in Assignment Editor

Hello,

I have several dark red entries in the Assignment Editor in my project. the help file says these are incomplete assignments. I've checked everything thoroughly but don't see anything amiss. In fact, every I/O bus in the project is listed as "incomplete."

Any help appreciated.
