IBIS file generation for Stratix IV 230 GX or 530 GX FPGA from Quartus-II

Hi Guru,

We are trying to generate the IBIS Model through Quartus-II tool for my FPGA design, targetted for EP4SGX230KF40C3 and EP4SGX530HH35C2ES device . It looks to me that there is some issue with the Q-II tool while generating IBIS file. Even though, EDA netlist writer Run is getting completed successfully, but it is not generating IBIS file.

I am getting following warning messages :

Warning: IBIS output file with mutual coupling support RLC package model is not available.[/B][/B]

Warning: Can't generate IBIS Output File for board analysis[/B][/B][/B][/B]

I think that IBIS file generation does NOT work with the per pin RLC option enabled in the run for either of FPGA device. I tried all combination with "Enable model selector" and "Print per pin RLC package model with mutual coupling" option ( i.e. checking either one of the option or not checking of any of the option etc..) , but it's not resolving the issue. Although, simulation file is getting generated successfully during EDA netlist writer run.

As a workaround, We have downloaded Stratix IV IBIS file, Stratix IBIS model (stratix_models.xls) and its RLC values package (stratix_rlc.xls) from Altera ibis link for a temporary solution to have less accurate IBIS model for my FPGA design.

Please suggest some fix for this issue.
