How to install Quartus II Web Edition Software on Ubuntu 11.04

I gave up and just dual-booted my testing laptop so that I could use Windows 7 or Ubuntu 11.04. I wanted the Ubuntu version, since Wireshark under Linux allows tracing the USB transactions, so you can view the USB-Blaster protocol.

mmm interesting I could check with wireshark what is happening on the USB stack of MAC?

UPDATE: USB sniffing isn't possible on MAC :(
