The output of lsusb is based on what is read from the device, i.e., the USB-Blaster. My question is, is that a real USB-Blaster, or some sort of clone? If its a clone, do you know if it works *at all*?

What's strange is in the console I have a error when I'm pressing on the programmer options in Tools:::

I'm not sure what the solution for that is, I have not seen that error. Try Googling or searching through the Altera Forum.
