How to install IntelLite 18.1 USB blaster driver on win 10 build 1803 if the Secure Boot and Credential Guard are enabled?

When installing the device driver on Windows 10, build 1803, with the Secure Boot and Credential Guard enabled (company security policy), the USB-driver fails to install. The message given is: "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)"

The USB Blaster device driver is appears to be SHA-1 signed, but with the above mentioned Secure Boot and Credential Guard enabled, the SHA-2 is a must.

Is there a SHA-2 signed driver available, can it be downloaded from somewhere? Can you provide one?

    Hi,

    I am sorry to tell you that we do not other version of USB-Blaster driver. This is the only driver that we have for USB-Blaster. I would recommend you to disable the Secure Boot and Credential Guard to use it.

    Hi, John,

    thank you for the answer, but the company IT has Windows Defender Application Control, and this includes Device Guard and Hyper-Visor Code Integrity.

    The problem is the driver signature. If this were to be SHA-256, all would be fine and dandy, but our IT will not disable the above mentioned items.

    I guess if the driver is not available with the SHA-256 Hash algorithm signature, htere is very little we can do about this.

    I am sorry that I am not able to help you on this as we do not have alternative driver.
