How to download files to the development board?

Hi all,

I'm working on EPM3032ATC44-4N, Max300A family, with QuartusII.

I've connected the JTAG USB Blaster. When I downloading the .pof file, QuartusII tells me:

error: can't access jtag chain

error: operation failed

How can I fix it? Thanks.

    There's (probably) a problem with the integrity of your JTAG chain. Check the connections and check the device is powered correctly - check ALL power pins are powered. For MAX3000 devices that should be enough to allow the programmer to scan the JTAG chain (assuming you've only one device in the JTAG chain).

    Could the device be faulty? Could it already be loaded with a design that uses the JTAG pins for user I/O? These would also prevent the programmer from talking to the device.
