How to assign KEY(0) as clock input

I am new to quatrus and I am trying to figure out how to assign KEY(0) on the DE1 board to be the clock input for my verilog module?

    The normal way is to go in the <Assignments><Assignments Editor> menu and, in the <<new>> field, add your KEY(0) input pin as a Global Signal with the value of "Global Clock".

    I say this with some hesitation though as I have been having difficulties with this (see my following post!).
