Hi, I have the Quartus Prime 18.0 Lite edition and I'm trying to create a project but it says that I can't create a project in this directory or write to the files or create new files. How do I solve this problem?

Can you share some image of you problem?

Steps:

• In the Quartus II software, select File > New Project Wizard. The Introduction page opens.
• Click Next
• Enter a directory in which you will store your Quartus II project files for this design
• What is the name of this project? Enter project name
• What is the name of the top-level design entity for this project? Enter top level file name.
• Click Next
• Select device
• click Next
• Select modelsim Alter in simulation tool
• Click finish.
