Help with installing Altera Quartus 10 Web Edition

I downloaded the Quartus 10 web Edition installer in a linux Box especially in Ubuntu 10.04 but when I try to run the ionstaller it pops out this:

Error: There was an error connecting to the Internet. Please verify your proxy information and ensure your computer is connected to the Internet.

But I do not use proxy and I am already online.

Please can u help me how to install it?

I already fixed the shell hardlink pointing to bash shell
