Error: Failde to refresh PTF file

Hi,

I build sopc system as per given in "Embedded System Lab Instruction_v91.pdf" on quartussp2 software on Window xp. As per the given procedure on page no 45, when i follow the "Generate" procedure it gives the following error.

" /cygdrive/d/quartus/quartus/bin/cygwin/bin/sh: D:/quartus/quartus/sopc_builder/bin/sopc_builder: /bin/sh:bas interpreter: NO such file or directory

Error: Failed to refresh PTF file.

I change the file permission from read only but it gives the same error. What should be the cause of error?

    you could try reinstalling. if you have any older Altera software installed make sure its all gone before reinstalling.

    Hi,

    You are right i have installed newer version but in different drive. But why is it creating problem?

    i am not sure, something must have gotten corrupted. check your environment variables ($QUARTUS_ROOTDIR, $SOPC_KIT_NIOS2, $PATH)
