Editor issues in Quartus2 9.1 Web Edition using Linux

Hi there,

I installed Quartus on my Ubuntu 10.4 System. I'm having trouble with the built in editor. I can't change the default font. And the default one is isn't a monospace font, which makes the code editor nearly useless. I tried to change the settings in the options dialog, but they have no effect.

Any ideas?

I'm also having trouble with some keyboard shortcuts, at least sometimes...

in Tools > Options > Text Editor you can't change the font? works on QII 9.1sp1 Web Edition Linux on Fedora 12

Yes. Actually i can change the font but it has no effect. The default one is "Nimbus Mono L", which is a monospace font. But the font in the editor is definetly not monospace. Changing the other fonts(general, messages) works fine. I put a small screenshot in the attachment. Does someone recognize this font? Anyone else with this problem? Or better: Any solutions?

that's strange, must be something Ubuntu specific. QII 9.1 Web Edition on Linux is a beta, so maybe the next release will fix it

    Moin,

yes the new release fixed it. The fonts and the shortcuts are working.

Btw: Is there any way to close the compilation report with a shortcut? ctrl-w works with normal files, but not with the compilation report. Also many editors support ctrl+pgup or pgdown for novigating through the open tabs. Is there a way to activate this in Quartus?

    Bye,

control-w does seem to close compilation reports for me in 10.0 Linux. not sure about toggling between windows, maybe file an enhancement request in an SR?
