Difficulties in causing the vga to count from 0 to 799

Hi guys, can someone help me figure out why this code does not function properly. counter_int_v and counter_int_h is what i want to get counting in modelsim but i am not able to figure out the...

May be. The screenshot shows a range 0..7. Why don't you show meaningful simulation results.

Quite obviously, it doesn't change anything to the code behaviour when you place the counter signals in a record. I don't think that it improves code readability, but that's a matter of taste.

Still no code tags used in your posts. :(

P.S.: I don't know which phantom you are chasing. The code from your latest post is simulating fine.
