DE3 Stratix III

I've got a DE3 board, which has a Stratix III EP3SL150 on it. When I install Quartus II 8.1, the chip files aren't installed, when I want to choose the chip type, the type is listed as "Not Installed". Does any one know how I can obtain those. Thank you,

Kaveh

I'm not really sure actually, I didn't get the file from website. The file name though was "81_quartus_free.exe". Does that help?

    Hi,

I would assume that the device is not supported by the Web edition. I will check that.

    Kind regards

Thanks. It seems the "81_quartus_windows.exe" version (which is about 2gb) does in fact include support files for EP3SL150.

    Thanks,

Look carefully to your version. I check that the web edition 8.1 does not include your device.

    Kind regards
