DDR2 Interface in Custom Board

Hello there. I'm have trouble assigning pins for a DDR2 interface with ALTMEMPHY on a ARRIAII-GX. I think I may have some problems on the board traces, so I need to assign some pin locations ...

At the time I tough there should have some Quartus assignment to bypass the DQ/DQS groups and use the memory with a lower frequency. But I haven't found any. So I had to re-wire the DQ/DQS pins on the board respecting the DQ/DQS groups.

I used some thin(cat5) wires to re-wire the board prototype then I was able to use the DDR2 at 300mhz consistently. So if you have a board with wrong DDR2 pin assignments you might try that to bring the memory up.
