'Custom PHY v17.1' IP in Platform Designer

i am trying to Instantiate Transceiver 'Custom PHY v17.1' IP in Platform Designer Tool. The IP is available in IP catalog at Quartus Prime Tool's view. But not seen inside IP catlog of Platform Designer's view. Any advice would be helpful. I am using Quartus Prime Lite Edition 17.1 for Cyclone V SX SoC device

    ​Hi AMath1,

    For your information, your observation is expected. This is because the Custom PHY is not formally supported in the Platform Designer Tool. Generally it is recommended to instantiate the Custom PHY in RTL/block diagram using IP Catalog in QPrime Tools. Then connect to the Platform Design generated module at the top level file.
