16 years ago --- Quote Start --- I am not familiar with that kit, but looking at the documentation quickly, it seems to me that the virtual COM port they are referring to in the documentation is for the dev kit itself, not the USB Blaster. When the USB port of the kit is connected to a PC, it shows up as a virtual COM port once you have the correct FTDI drivers installed. --- Quote End --- I see what you're saying. However when I plug the demo kit USB port in it shows up as an unknown UDB device. When I try to update the driver with the FTDI VCP driver from here: http://www.ftdichip.com/drivers/vcp.htm, using the Windows Hardware Update Wizard it tells me it can't find a better match than the driver already installed. I'm lost.
