Can't open .qar file

Hello,

The design example provided by Altera in the link:

http://www.altera.com/support/examples/timequest/exm-tq-generated-clock.html do not open. It gives the following error message :

Error (20005): A license file is required to enable compilation of your design for the Stratix II family of devices

Since quartusII free web edition doesn't support Stratix series this cannot be opened! Is there any way to open this example on Cyclone series?

    Hi,

    you can use "Project => Restore Archived Project" from QuartusII to restore the project (this gives a folder containing the archived files).

    This still generated error messages as - like you already mentioned - the design cannot be opened with QII Web - maybe the file you're interested in could by "open file"...
