Can't install Quatus V10.0 under XP

Hi, I'm having a problem installing Free Web Quartus V10.0 under XP. It appears to install OK but when looking at \quartus\bin there are only 2 files. I've tried this on 3 different PCs and ...

I think I started by trying to install the V10.0 without removing my 9.1sp2 version, but then stopped and removed the 9.1sp2. continued with the install and it did not work. I had to delete the folders and shortcuts because I could not remove it with the add-remove programs and the uninstaller for the ModelSim did not work.

So now I installed 9.1sp2 again and did a clean remove of it with add-remove programs...

then tried installing again V10.0, but no luck. Quartus and Nios go through install and pass, but I can't lunch them (missing shortcut) then ModelSim install fails... Non of the programs appear in the add-remove programs so I have to manually remove the files and shorcuts...

I have a AMD Phenom II x4 810 processor and I run Windows XP 32bit
