Cannot create .pof

Hello,

I am a complete newbie in this world, so please forgive me if i ask a trivial question:

I am following the 'Altera' 'My First Fpga Design Tutorial', and my target device is an EP4CE6E22.

The hardware board is an Due Pro Logic board from EarthPeople.

The device comes with an EPT-Blaster v 1.3b [mBUSB-0] that was inserted in Quartus II 64 bit.

Compilation of my project (with some modified settings resulting from the EarthPeople board) is OK.

I am able to select the programming device and the EPCS1 chip in the Programmer, but the .pof output file from the assembler (?) seems to be missing in the output directory from my project. Therefore i cannot select the file so the programmer cannot be configured properly. I end up with file = <none>, Device = EPCS1, ... wich does not work.

Some research on the Web resulted in the option to convert .sof to .pof using the 'convert programming files' option from the file menu.

But the demo from EarthPeople generates a .pof file from the compilation step automatically (if my analysis is correct).

So my question is: how do [/U]i configure Quartus II 64 bit to generate a .pof file from its compilation automatically.

[/U]

Thanks for the support.

Johi.
