Can QXP files be used during simulation with either Modelsim or VCS?

Altera_Forumthe original HDL is not included in the QXP, so you can only do a gate level simulation.

I have made a test for the simulation of project contains the .qxp file.
but i failed! the modelsim does not recognise the .qxp file, and reminders that "Instantiation of 'counter_ip' failed. The design unit was not found." could anyone help me ? thanks very much! - Altera_Forum
