Can Quartus V9.0 SP2 run under Win7 32bit

I have loaded Quartus V9.0 SP2 under windows 7, 32 bit. I had problems loading - with a couple of unreconised files, even though the path and files were present and correct Running Nios IDE the ...

I seem to recall using 9.0 or 9.1 on Windows 7 x64 but there were quite a bit of gotchas involved. I would recommend avoiding those and using a later version.

This is, I understand, the last version to support apex 20k.

Without this info I'm stuck maintaining an older OS just to run Quartus.
