Can Quartus set/clear EPCS configuration device protection bits?

Hello again!

I seem to have an EPCS16 configuration device that has its protection bits set...

(1) I'm not sure how they got set.... (?)

(2) I can't figure out how to clear the protection bits from the QII programmer so that I can load the device with new configuration data... (?)

Am I just overlooking some obvious "button" to clear out the protection bits, or am I going to need to generate my own bitstream to send the write-enable followed by write-status opcodes to clear the protection out myself?
