calibration pins

Hello,

How do I set up the calibration pins in Quartus II? The pins are assigned in pin planner with the following naming convention: termination_blk0~_rup_pad. But they show up as direction unknown. How do I tell Quartus that I am using the pins as calibration pins?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    you must be using an ALTMEMPHY memory controller?

    run through the fitter, and let it place the pin itself. then, in Pin Planner, right click the pin and Back Annotate the assignment

    Yes I am using the ALTMEPHY memory controller.

    Do I need to delete them out of the pin planner first?
