Byteblaster via LPT on PCI extension board

Hi,

I was wondering if Byteblaster on LPT will work via LPT on PCI card. Something like that:

The thing is my new computer doesn't have a LPT on mainboard :( Replacing all my stuff to USB ones is a costly matter.

Anyone using programmers this way?
