Byteblaster Error"Kernel mode driver not installed"

Hi ,I am facing problem. I use a PCIe Parallel port card, Installed it's driver and also the byteblaster's but when i program the PFGA it shows that "kernel mode driver not installed".I've changed the regedit follow as those suggests,--"Now my Byteblaster2 is running with my PCI parallel port adapter. The problem was during QuartusII installation the field "DependIOnService" of AlteraByteBlaster (HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\ AlteraByteBlaster) in Windows registry was filled in to be dependent from service "parport". When I installed my PCI parallel port adapter (MosChip chipset) the service installed to take care of parallel port was NmPar. Since I pointed "DependIOnService" of AlteraByteBlaster to "NmPar I dont have problem using Byteblaster2 anymore."

but it still does not work now.

My PCIe Parallel port card's type is MM-PCEMSC9901-2S1P which powered by MOSCHIP .

it phsical I/O adrress is D000-D007.

I do not understand why Quartus2 can't find the LPT1 port,and how can i save problem,please?

    Question :

Do you still need to work with Byteblaster or do you see a chance to swap to the USB Blaster ? Which is much faster and LPT Ports are getting more and more uncommon these days.

Sorry that this not a solution to your problem.

:confused:Yes,I know the USB-blaster is better than byteblaster. But in some other works parallel port is still be used,When we debuge Altera FPGA,ARM, MSP430,ATMEGA signle chip..we need JTAG Port.So I bought a PCIe parallel port card.

And the First bother is the byteblaster could not identify in the Quartus V9.0.So,I need you help.

Hi,everyone. It is Puzzle me that my Byteblaster is working now, after I installed the USB-Blaster's driver.

I use a PCIe parallel port card but at the beginning Quartus programmer can not detect the LPT port and clue to "kernel mode driver not install",then I red lots of help in Altera Forum, but those all no help.So I bought another USB-Blaster cable, when I start the Quartus'Programmer I find the byterblaster MV(LPT1) is detected. Now Both Byteblaster2 and USB-Blaster are working good.

The Quartus is really a mess, big and bugs. I also have trouble to make the Byteblaster cable work under WIN7. And the help is not helping. Time wasting.
