Hi Aiman,
Unfortunately I had already seen this page and this doesn't contain the drivers for USB blaster at all (unless it has a different name on this page).I understand there's little the community can do but the direct support keeps pointing me back here.
anyway - My colleague had found a solution on stackexchange - he had gone into regeddit and made changes following sinstructions found here:

You can refer to below link for driver installation for Quartus 6.1 windows 2000.
However, please be noted that we have very limited information as this is consider as old version.

thank you for your response - I have already used this page but my issue isn't with installing the drivers, it's that I specifically need the drivers to install as I believe some of the data is completely missing.
if I could get a fresh installation of the quartus version or just the drivers I believe this would solve my issues.
