The Linux USB-Blaster support is different under Windows and Linux. In the case of Active Serial programming, the two AS header pins that reset the FPGA (nCE, nCONFIG) get left such that the FPGA is not enabled. Hence the need to unplug the header. You could write a program to send the USB-Blaster commands needed to assert nCE. Send me an email (forum name) and I'll send you some code that you can hack. Cheers, Dave
