You need to be very explicit what your environment is and what the error is if you expect any reasonable help.

What do you mean not able to install? Any error pop up?

Since that version is old, you must be following the right requirement and system like os etc.

We did manage to install the version, but the tool simply crashes every time we choose any particular option, for instance adding a file etc. Is this a known issue and do we have a fix for this?

Since this is EOL Quartus it is hard to support. What device are you using?

Is it possible to migrate latest supported device which I suggest the most.
