# ** Warning: (vcom-6) -- Waiting for lock by

I have been been using quartus and modelsim for awhile now and never ran into this issue. I have updated my file a couple days ago and it compiled perfectly. Not it will not and in ModelSim it says# ** Warning: (vcom-6) -- Waiting for lock by "Jared@C118, pid = 7336. and the line beneath it, it says ". Lockfile is "C:/altera_lite/15.1/work/_lock". I located it and its there but I don't know where to go from here. Thank you for any assistance.

    This often happens when modelsim has crashed while running a simulation.

    Just delete the _lock folder and try again.
