weird problem with dm9000a on de2

my de2 stop responding shortly after boot up.

Uncompressing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel.

it did respond a few packets den went dead.

this situation only appears if i used hardware design that i recompiled myself. i only add a custom hardware in the sopc builder, auto assign the addresses, irqs, generate, and recompile de2_net. i din touch anything else in the sopc builder.

i am not having problem if i use the original de2_net. anyone has any idea?

    i am also having the same problem. i used the same DM9000A and upgraded in sopc 9.0 and compiled.

    but the

    initialization fails.

    it could not change any of the DM9000A's registers

    if u have solved the problem, can u tell me how did u do it
