USB Flash Drive

I have a Altera DE2 board with a Cyclone II FPGA on it. I"m working a project that would benefit from being able to write to a USB Thumb Drive. The board has a USB host port available. However I am unable to figure out how to gain access to this device or find a component that would allow me to access the Thumb Drive. Has anyone worked with this before and could offer some advice.

    Hi , wenninra

You can try out "http://nioswiki.jot.com/WikiHome/OperatingSystems/UsbHost", I used thumb USB testing the "UsbHost" (USB ISP1362 driver) , that it can be able to access, so it's ok.

    Regards

This could work but inorder to do so I would have to run uCLinix if I'm not mistaken here. I was looking to see if anyone had ever built a component that could just be added using the SOPC builder and possible a driver that would go along with that.
