Super urgent...Please help!

Hey guys,

Really quick question. Can I use in system memory editor to view the contents of the memory and NIOS ide to run the program simultaneously at the same time. Apparently, because they share the same JTAG interface i am having some problems. A quite reply is very much appreciated.
