SoC simulation

hello guys.

I am trying to create SoC system by using DE1-SoC dev-kit.

it was quite easy to lean basic building system and running software on the board.

but I want to simulate that project after all.

I did simulate NiosII with its software.

but I have no idea how to simulate SoC system with its software especially OS.

what should I do first?
