Nice code..!

One little thing though. In your both your ISR functions you have a stray ";" at the end of the first IF statement.

if(IORD_ALTERA_AVALON_UART_CONTROL(UART1_BASE) & ALTERA_AVALON_UART_CONTROL_TRDY_MSK);
